 Surprisingly comfortable and warm
To start off, I avoid getting Amazon brand clothes like they’re the plague. However, in my long-running quest to get an affordable and *simple* pullover hoodie with a three-panel hood, I made a compromise and got this. The gray color is solid, the fit is comfortable (I normally wear a large, I got a large, it fits like a large with no ifs, ands, or buts,) the front pocket is a good size, and it’s a genuine hoodie. As I was saying, it was a true pain in the ass trying to find a simple, decent quality hoodie that was comfortable, affordable, and *simple*. By *simple*, I mean a simply designed piece of clothing, not an unnecessarily expensive and/or overly engineered hoodie designed with the simple aesthetic or just the idea of simplicity in mind. Oh also the three-panel hood is king and fits so much better than the awkwardly dull pointed hood.

To put it short, if you want a simple, affordable, and comfortable hoodie, then just get this one. Save yourself the hassle, seriously.

I bought this sweater for my son because he needed a pink hoodie for school. It is really nice quality and I love the way it fits on him. I think it will be a new favorite. He is 5'8",138lbs and we bought a M.

I love this. Bought it last night and had it first thing in the AM. Mostly wear this for exercising and ordered the XS. I am 5’3 and 135lbs. Fits perfectly and not tight- I still had some slack and comfort. Hard to look good while I exercise, but this is my go-to brand now.

So comfortable!
I really like this sweatshirt. Had purchased a few others from different bands, but this one was definitely the best quality for the price.

Very Soft and Good Fit
Although it is only the pricey side, it is one of the most comfortable sweaters I own. The material is very soft and warm, especially good for the winter.

A co-worker is now wearing sweatshirts to work too
Our post-covid dress code at work is super casual, so it's a sweatshirt for me the days I'm in the office. The office temp is cold, so in summer I invested in light colors so it's not so weird when walking outside. A co-worker remarked that I look so comfortable everyday they have switched to sweatshirts too.

 Fits exactly how I wanted it to
5'3", 130 lbs. Ordered a size small and it's ideal. Not tight but slightly fitted and arm and waist bands are snug. Medium density, good for autumn or spring wear or for layering. Feels warm. Texture inside is like a soft felt. Not plush but comfortable. Hood is shaped well and is spacious.

Champion of The Great Hoodie Quest of 2020
I've never been a hoodie person, but this year seemed appropriate to become one. I've tried about all the cheap hoodies I could find, and the Amazon essentials is far superior to anything else out there under $30. It's soft, feels and looks like a well made garment. The flat drawstrings and metal aglets are a nice touch, as is the rounded/cupped back of the hood (rather than a pointy gnome hood). Another great thing is there is no branding whatsoever.

I bought the olive one and tried the forest green and both are true to the images. I had to wait forever for the black to come back in stock but it was worth it. I do wish it were a little heavier/thicker (such as a Nike or Adidas "tech fleece"), but it's still heavier than the other cheap ones (jerzees, hanes, fruit loom). I also directly compared to the Goodthreads one and while the Goodthreads was more aesthetically pleasing (in a vintage way) I found it wasn't as soft and seemed to have less elasticity, especially in the cuffs and therefore felt like it might stretch out more.

Great Basic Hoodie
I like to consider myself a "sweatshirt connoisseur-" I have over 30. I was seeking a basic/plain black one to add to my collection, and this one has exceeded my expectations. It is well-made, truly medium weight, and very soft. I'm a 5'2" female, 135 pounds with a smaller bust and like my hoodies roomy but not baggy. I ordered a small and it is perfect. I expect it to shrink a little when I wash it but I don't think it'll make a huge difference. Overall, I recommend this item!
